Joel Embiid of the 76ers will miss the Timberwolves game due to a sore hip

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid will miss Wednesday's down in Minnesota with hip irritation and will be reconsidered Thursday.

Embiid played 38 minutes and had 38 focuses and 12 bounce back during the 76ers' 122-119 extra time misfortune at Cleveland a night sooner. The dominant MVP is averaging a NBA-best 31.9 focuses per game this season with 11.3 bounce back and 6.1 helps a game. It will be the primary missed game for Embiid this season.

"He has a few irritation in his hip and that is all there is to it, enough to keep him out," Philadelphia mentor Scratch Medical caretaker said before the game. "We'll continue to check it and check him again tomorrow, and perceive how long it will be."

Philadelphia doesn't play again until Nov. 25 at Oklahoma City.
